Current Favorites. September 2016

Hello lovelies!

Today I am bringing you my current favorites of products I feel like I just can't live without right now.
Top to bottom, left to right: elf HD correctors and concealers, Make Up For Ever Aqua XL liners, elf Baked highlighters, Bare Minerals Invisible Light powder duo, Urban Decay One & Done, Neutrogena Nourishing long wear foundation, Benefit Ka Brow, Bobbi Brown bronzers, Tatcha Luminizing dewy skin mist.

Starting with the elf HD correctors and concealers: These are amazing you guys! They are a thin consistency but give great  coverage that looks very skin like once blended. They do run very dark though so even the shade Fair on me is almost too dark for my NC15-NC20 skin. If I'm looking for under eye brightening and/or to highlight the face I'll usually go for the yellow corrector which is beautiful banana shade and is slightly less pigmented than the concealers, so it can be used on a wider range of skin tones.

Make Up For Ever Aqua XL liners: I have nothing but good things to say about these liners. They came out not that long ago to Sephora and ever since I got my hands on the matte black (M-10), it has replaced all my other dark liners for the waterline. They also have a rich brown, and deep mauve color that I am obsessed with and will be added to my wish list. If you want your liner to stay in place all day, or if you are prone to raccoon eyes with other liners, then I highly recommend you try their new Aqua XL liners.

elf Baked highlighters: I am pretty fair so I use the Moonlight Pearls shade most of the time, which is similar to Becca's' Moonstone or TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer, but the Blush Gems shade is a really good dupe for MAC's Soft and Gentle or Becca's Opal. I find myself reaching for this more than any other highlighter and at $4 it can't be beat.

bareMinerals invisible light duo: Although it's not marketed as an HD powder, this is one of my favorite setting, HD, touch up powders! My only complaint is that they don't make these (especially the matte) seperate.

Urban Decay One and Done: I am always on the hunt for the perfect moisturizer with spf, bonus if it has coverage! This is beautiful under makeup. For me, it stays out of fine lines and tones down redness.

Neutrogena nourishing longwear foundation: I actually bought this a while ago but it got pushed to the side while all the new, fun, fancy foundations got used instead. Now, I do not have great skin (at all)  but when I wear this I have actually gotten those "you have really nice  skin" comments. Definitely one of the best drugstore foundations and certainly beats out many highend foundations too!

Benefit Kabrow: Oh Kabrow, how I love you. This is like the love child of a brow powder and pomade and it is oh so wonderful! I even like brush included in the cap.

Bobbi Brown matte bronzer: Mine is in Medium which has the most perfect warm undertone, never orange though. I love these because no matter how much you put on, it always just give the most gorgeous and natural sun kissed glow... definitely worth the $45!

Tatcha luminizing dewy skin mist: I (like everybody else) love this! Although I didn't love the price tag, so thank goodness I came across the perfect dupe which I blogged about here. Hurray for budget friendly, right!

What are you favorites?! I would love to hear about them.

Until next time,
